Lenin.. Biography of The Great Vladimir Lenin Voice of Revolution -

2072619 orig

(April 22, 1870 - January 21, 1924) Vladimir Lenin was a Russian political theorist, communist revolutionary and leader of the Soviet Union from 1917 until his death in 1924.

Lenin was possessed of great charisma and personal magnetism.  He thought himself "a man of destiny," believing in the rightness of his cause.  His revolutionary theory encompassed violence used as a tool to overthrow the corruption of capitalism as a system of governance.  He preferred instead to install a composite of socialist, Marxist ideology with his own expansion on Marxism including anti-imperialism called  Marxism–Leninism.  He supported wars of liberation, believing nations had a "right to self-determination" (1).

Stevens connection[]
